Jamie said she is "thinking" of doing a book on the case. A few years ago, she said she would write a book. Today, she said the Newsoms asked her to write a book.

Jamie said the retrials are going to happen because the Tennessee Supreme Court asked Blackwood if he couldn't be 13th juror. If not, the retrials will take place.

The Knox County District Attorney General's office is posturing for political reasons. The local DAG claimed victory at the earlier Supreme Court ruling asking Blackwood to look again at his ruling. They didn't overturn it, still Blackwood's call.

Jamie said it "blows her mind" that the national media is not interested in the case.

She says it is better to have the retrials now rather than ten years from now.

The key fact is Baumgartner had not ruled on new trial motions before being forced from bench. If he had acted a 13th juror, verdicts would likely hold up.

Coleman's retrial is set for November. Other three, nest year. Baumgartner's federal trial is in October.
