Thanks to reader-researcher RC for the sendalong.

News reader on the video below: “Authorities are saying there may have been a history of trouble in the family.”

“Family”? What family? There was no marriage. As the news reader had just said, the dead woman was the suspect’s “girlfriend,” not his wife. If they'd wanted a family, they should have married.

Note that the Jamaica, Queens neighborhood where the suspect and the victims lived has been taken over by Hispanic aliens.

The story naturally refuses to identify anyone's immigration status, but reports that the suspect "goes by at least one other name," which answers the question in his case.

NEW YORK (AP) — Police say the father of two young girls found stabbed to death along with their mother in their New York City home has been arrested in Texas.

The NYPD says 28-year-old Miguel Mejia-Ramos was captured early Tuesday at a vehicle roadblock in Schulenburg, Texas, which is between Houston and San Antonio.

Police say Mejia-Ramos is considered a suspect in the stabbings. He was arrested by U.S. Marshals and local police on a New York warrant. Charges are pending.

Fayette County, Texas, authorities say the suspect, who goes by at least one other name, was located after he turned on his cellphone.

It wasn't immediately known if he had a lawyer. [Of course, he has a lawyer—the public defender that we’re all paying for.]

The bodies of 1-year-old Yaslin Mejia and 2-year-old Daniela Mejia and their mother, 21-year-old Deisy Garcia, were discovered Sunday night in their Queens apartment.

[The mother didn’t waste any time, weighing anchor. And why are the kids being referred to as “Mejias,” when their mother’s name was Garcia, and the parents never married?]
